At Jake’s Place BBQ in Bixby Oklahoma Pigs do fly and when pigs ply interesting things go down. For instance, the pictured “Pig Wings” are like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Pig Wings are just one of the delectable BBQ items on their menu… I recommend the BBQ sampler. Jake’s Place BBQ Pig Wings are cut from the lower portion of the rear and front legs of the pig. From my encounter, this part of the pig is very flavorful and comes right off the bone. This will NOT be the last time I eat a Pig Wing at Jake’s Place.

The Lone Wolf Polish Sausage Pizza

This Polish Sausage Pizza is a mix of two BOMB types of food. You have the Polish dog, which I like in a bun with sauteed onions, bell peppers and cheese – creating the loaded pizza concept. For this bomb creation I coated a pan with leftover bacon grease, tossed half a chopped onion in with half of a sliced green bell pepper. Once the onions started caramelizing, I added some Lone Wolf Sausage from Lone Wolf Wurst Meats (I ordered these from their website Here). While frying I prepared the dough with a red sauce and topped with cheese. I then placed the fried sausage slices on the pizza and placed it in the oven. Last step is to add the onions and bell peppers about half-way through the cooking process.

Chick-fil-A Chick-fil-A Chick-fil-A! I could sing your name all day long! Here we have just a few of the amazing sauces that can accompany your Chick-fil-A meal. My process is as follows; number one original Chick-fil-A sandwich, then I add a BBQ sauce to the top, a Buffalo sauce to the bottom with Honey BBQ sauce throughout the eating process as I make my way through the sandwich! BOMB!

You don’t have to necessarily love fish to indulge on a Baja style Pescada Taco like this!!! This Pescada Taco comes with everything I look for in a bomb fish taco. I found this taco at a famous Mexican restaurant in Downtown Palm Springs, California called La Casuelas. Now that I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma I am on a quest to find a replica somewhere in this great state which is coincidentally filled with Mexican restaurants. If you are ever in the mood for some finger licking good barbecue then be sure to head on down south to “This is It!”, some of the best barbecue in Georgia. The brisket sandwich was amazing with perfectly spicy barbecue sauce on grilled Texas toast. The macaroni and cheese was a perfect mixture of cheesiness! This is absolutely some of the best barbecue in the South!
